The NET project is committed to preparing students for the 21st century workforce through the promotion of gender neutral educational strategies and practices.

Girls Get I.T. is an innovative career exploration workshop designed to introduce high
school girls to Information Technology (I.T.) careers in television broadcasting. The event was held
on December 5th, 2006 at Time Warner's Cable News 9 in Albany, NY. The girls
learned first-hand that IT is not a gender-limited field, and that there are many
career opportunities in the field of IT, as well as in other technical fields.

The Physical Management of a TV Station
